The children were busy, as groups at different times took part in rafting on the River Torridge, surfing and body boarding at the local beach, riding the RIB around the estuary near Appledore, and back at Skern Lodge braving the High Ropes and the Assault Course.
There was even time for some staff and children to mount a shopping expedition into Appledore before the evening pool Olympics and Scavenger Hunt activities.
So a busy, action-packed day. More of the same again, and according to the BBC forecast last night the rain might hold off until this evening- we shall see.
